SONDRIO (ITALPRESS) – Sondrio State Police are carrying out 10 precautionary measures and nine searches between Sondrio, Milan and its province, Varese and Savona, against a criminal group made up of people of different ethnicities, which was supplying drugs to the city of Sondrio and surrounding areas. Rivers of drugs traveled from Spain to Milan by car, passing through the Ventimiglia border, to arrive in Sondrio, in a garage in the capital of Valtellina transformed into a drug base of operations. The leaders of the group would make arrangements from Spain for the transportation and sale of the narcotics and the division of the money made from the drug business. The drugs were code-named “fazat,” a Tunisian term to loosely allude to narcotics, and were sold by the associates, who used pseudonyms so as not to reveal their identities, in the heart of Sondrio in a wide variety of ways and at any time of day.
