MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO (ITALPRESS) – A new season just around the corner, a revamped bike and a world title to bring back to the Factory Team. In the beautiful setting of Madonna di Campiglio, Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez unveiled to the public the new Desmosedici GP25 that will take part in the next MotoGP championship. For the third year in a row, the ‘Champions in PistĂ event was held in the Dolomites resort, linked to the Audi giant by a partnership now in its 12th year. “The two strongest riders on the grid are in our box,” said Luigi Dall’Igna, general manager of Ducati Corse, proudly. Indeed, in terms of titles won (eleven overall), Team Ducati Lenovo will be able to count on one of the best line-ups in recent championship history. So they need no introduction Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez, who, amid smiles and photo ops, shared with the public all their excitement for the upcoming season. “Red is a color that suits me very well and the bike is beautiful. I’m proud of Ducati’s growth and I have a lot of stimulation ahead of the championship,” told ‘Peccò, the reigning vice-rider. Marquez also appeared quite enthusiastic, despite the veteran experience accumulated over the years, “I’m coming to the reference team in the championship. This bike gave me back my smile last season.” For Bagnaia this is the fifth year with the Borgo Panigale manufacturer with two championships won, while Marquez arrives in the official box after his parentheses in Gresini. It will not be easy for Ducati to improve on the results of a record-breaking 2024. It is true that Jorge Martin took away in Aprilia the number 1 on the saddle, but, on the other hand, one cannot forget the nineteen wins out of twenty, tagged Ducati riders. The goal is clear: to win everything, from the constructors’ title to the riders’ title. Dall’Igna promises several technical innovations on a bike, however, characterized by a certain continuity in terms of graphics. In addition to the red color, there is always the fluorescent detail that refers to the curve present in the Ducati logo. Also taking the stage was Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali, who spoke about the brand’s continued growth both from a sporting and a commercial standpoint. “Team 2025 has an important potential that I believe can spur everyone in the industry to continuously improve,” Domenicali added. 2025 will be a year full of news for Ducati, starting with its debut in the motocross world championship with the Desmo450.- Photo Ipa Agency -(ITALPRESS).
