POTENZA (ITALPRESS) – An earthquake tremor of magnitude 4.2 was recorded at 10:01 a.m. by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology in the area of Vaglio Basilicata, in the province of Potenza. The event was localized at a depth of 14 kilometers.
Following the seismic event recorded at 10:01 a.m. by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology in the province of Potenza of magnitude ML 4.2, the Italian Situation Room of the Civil Protection Department contacted local structures of the National Civil Protection Service. Initial checks carried out following the event indicate no damage to people or property.
