ROME (ITALPRESS) – On Friday, Oct. 18, starting at 7 p.m., Rome’s historic Palazzetto dello Sport, known as PalaTiziano, will be the scene of an evening of great boxing, organized by De Carolis Promotions. After a long time, boxing returns to the Temple of Sport in the Olympic Village thanks to the valuable collaboration of the Department of Major Events, Sports, Tourism and Fashion of Roma Capitale. The evening will culminate with the highly anticipated Roman derby between Mirko Geographer and Pietro Rossetti. The two athletes, darlings of Capitoline boxing, will clash to win the EBU Silver Welterweight Title. A high-tension bout that promises great entertainment. The rich undercard will see some of the best talents of Capitoline boxing compete in the ring in bouts with a very uncertain outcome. Prominent among them will be the confrontation in the super lightweights between Mauro Loli of Team Boxe Roma XI who will face Valerio Mazzulla in a match over eight rounds. The Bolzano boxer comes from a surprise win against the highly rated Christian Gasparri. Before the Professional event there will be an Olympic boxing event starting at 4 p.m. with bouts featuring young up-and-coming boxers from Capitoline boxing.
