ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Edoardo Italia, Vice President and Representative of the Youth CRI, was elected President of the National Council of Youth (CNG). “I’m a candidate for the desire to give voice to youth associations, making my personal experience available. I imagine a CNG recognized by young people and able to truly put themselves at their service: a platform able to amplify the action of the associations that are part of it and to welcome and involve new youth networks”, explained Italy.
At the base of his mandate, there will be constant and structured confrontation with organizations and young people themselves: “I will always try to confront all the subjects of civil society and make the link between social partners, associative network and institutions even stronger, directly involving the Minister of Youth, Andrea Abodi – he added. The CNG must be able to read needs and transform them into concrete projects. Only so girls and boys will be able to become engines of change, to be pivot of a civil society capable not only of respecting Rights and freedom but also of enhancing ability and attitudes, giving shape to ideas and dreams”.
