LONDRA (UKREGNO) (ITALPRESS) – The former British ambassador to the United States, Peter Mandelson, was arrested on charges of office abuse. The Metropolitan Police reported it as relaunching the Sky News broadcaster.
“The agents arrested a 72-year-old man on charges of office abuse,” said a police spokesman. “He was arrested at an address in Camden on Monday, February 23 and was taken to a London police station to be questioned. This is followed by search warrants issued in two addresses in the areas of Wiltshire and Camden,” the spokesman said.
Mandelson’s name appeared in the investigation of the Epstein Files, a scandal that led Mandelson himself to announce his resignation from the House of Lords in the past few weeks.
