BRUSSELS (BELGIUM) (ITALPRESS) – The European Council decided today to extend restrictive measures “against those responsible for undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine for another six months.” This was reported in a Brussels note, stating that the sanctions will be extended until September 15, 2025.
Existing measures include travel restrictions on individuals, asset freezes, and a ban on making funds or other economic resources available to listed individuals and entities. Sanctions will continue to apply to approximately 2,400 individuals and entities targeted in response to Russia’s ongoing unjustified and unprovoked military aggression against Ukraine.
