Fair Play Menarini talk show in Florence tomorrow

FLORENCE (ITALPRESS) – The wait is almost over. Tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 30, will be the big day of the talk show Fair Play Menarini – Champions tell their stories. The reflections and anecdotes of sports legends, models of fair play and loyalty, will find space in the symbolic place of the city of Florence, Palazzo Vecchio, which will open the doors of the iconic Salone dei Cinquecento at 5 p.m., in the presence of Mayor Sara Funaro. The talk show will feature the participation of the Italian National Olympic Committee, represented by Silvia Salis, deputy vice president of CONI and former champion of hammer throw, a discipline in which she won ten Italian titles. From athletics also comes the story of Andy Diaz, a triple jump champion who struck the first Olympic medal with the Italian colors at the Paris 2024 Games, and his coach and friend Fabrizio Donato, bronze in the triple jump at the 2012 London Olympics. The star-studded roundup continues with Rigivan Ganeshamoorthy, gold in the discus throw at the last Paralympic Games in Paris, while for alpine skiing there will be Giuliano Razzoli, gold in the special slalom at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. For soccer, a legend like Javier Zanetti, unforgettable captain of Inter Milan and the Argentine national team. Borja Valero, the Spanish midfielder who became a flag for Fiorentina, also responded to Menarini’s Fair Play appeal. Volleyball will feature a historical name like Andrea Zorzi, two-time world champion with Italvolleyball, and a revelation like Ekaterina Antropova, Olympic gold medalist at the Paris 2024 Games. Finally, stories by the ‘narrator of emotions’ Federico Buffa will help make the evening unique.
