MARANELLO (MODENA) (ITALPRESS) – The new Ferrari Amalfi Spider, spider V8 2+ with a central-anterior motor that combines contemporary sportiness, elegance and great versatility of use. Designed for those who want to live the experience of the sport guide without sacrificing comfort and style, the new Ferrari car interprets the open-air spirit of the Maranello house offering high performance and pleasure of open-air driving. The model represents a synthesis between performance, design and daily usability. With the roof open direct contact with the road and the emotions of the open air guide become an integral part of the experience while maintaining high levels of comfort and practicality.
The Amalfi Spider was born to preserve the elegant proportions of the coupe version, maintaining a smooth silhouette even with the lowered head. The canvas roof, available in different colours and fabrics, strengthens the versatile character of the car and allows wide possibilities of customization. The hood opens in 13.5 seconds and can also be operated in movement up to 60 km/h, while the reduced encumbrances of the folded roof allow a good load capacity: 255 liters with closed roof and 172 liters with open roof.
Inside the cabin, the double cockpit setting is resumed with an advanced interface between driver and car. The steering wheel with physical keys and the iconic power button return, while the central display and controls are designed for intuitive interaction even in the most dynamic guide. The 2+ configuration increases practicality, allowing you to use the rear seats even for the smaller ones or to expand the load space. Under the long hood there is a powerful 640 horse turbo V8 engine, while at the rear an integrated active spoiler improves stability at high speeds. The result is a spider that fully interprets Ferrari’s style of sports life, combining performance, elegance and pleasure of outdoor driving.
