GENOA (ITALPRESS) – Genoa and Torino do not hurt each other, sealing an insipid 0-0 in the match at the Ferraris. The Grifone certainly tried with more conviction, but in the final it was the granata who despaired for the goal cancelled out to Karamoh. So, both formations confirm the difficulties, shown in the last period, playing a game poor in ideas. Moreover, the rain, which fell copiously for long stretches, only increased the technical errors of the teams. The tension is palpable from the very first minutes and thus comes out a very tactical first half with few goal emotions. On the half-hour mark, the game seemed to light up on Frendrup’s conclusion from the distance, deflected, however, by Ricci’s providential intervention in the slip. On the other side, however, Toro hit an outside post, thanks to an excellent insertion in the opponent’s box by Vojvoda. At 35′, the hosts protested to Marinelli, claiming a penalty for Coco’s hand touch. From the replay, however, one can clearly see how the former Las Palmas’ arm is perfectly glued to the body. Little show and a lot of boredom in the second half as well, despite both teams’ attempts to up the pace of play. A harmless free kick by Miretti and a second attempt from the edge by Frendrup are the only rings of the second half for the Grifone. The granata, on the other hand, combine practically nothing until the 89th minute, when newcomer Karamoh’s goal was cancelled out for an offside position. In the final still Torino came close to scoring the three points: in the 93′, in fact, Leali saved his teammates from the mockery, parrying Tameze’s attempt. The offensive performers change, but the scoreboard does not budge from parity. With this result Vieira maintains his own unbeaten record on the Genoa bench.
