Fiasconaro brings the spirit of Sicilian Christmas to New York

The prestigious Sicilian homemade pastry shop Fiasconaro celebrated the festivities with the Fiasconaro Holiday Party, which was held in its flagship store in SoHo, Sunday, December 7.

Guest of honor was the Fiasconaro Dolce Presepe, a special edition of 10 kg entirely made by hand that transforms Sicilian sweet art into a real work of art. Enriched with raisins and candied orange peel, the panettone has been decorated with an impeccable white chocolate crib made entirely by hand by the chefs of the company. Every detail reflects Fiasconaro’s dedication to creativity, to the craftsmanship that shaped Sicilian identity for generations.

During the meeting, the Dolce Presepe was blessed by Don Luigi Portarulo, pastor of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral on Fifth Avenue and parish vicar of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral, in homage to the deep spiritual traditions that inspire the creation of this crib. “Bringing the Dolce Presepe in New York was very significant for us,” said pastry teacher Nicola Fiasconaro. “This creation encompasses the heart of Sicily—his faith, his art and his sweetness. Sharing it with the New York community was our way to build a bridge between our traditions and the vibrant spirit of this city. We hope that each guest has perceived the warmth and authenticity of a true Sicilian Christmas. ”

Guests also had the opportunity to buy the Dolce Presepe in the 1.7 kg version and immerse themselves in a combination of culinary excellence and Sicilian tradition.

The Holiday Party represented a new milestone in the mission of Fiasconaro to share Sicilian art with the world, preserving the traditions that define its identity. From Sicily to SoHo, Fiasconaro has combined traditional heritage and innovation, bringing the spirit of the island even overseas.
