TORINO (ITALPRESS) – During the days of the celebrations of the Fiat 500 Hybrid, produced in the establishment of Mirafiori, the Galà dei 500 – Italian Excellences, Mediaset event that will air on Canale 5 Tuesday 16 December in the second evening, will be the stage of a tribute to the legends that made Italy unique and the Italian being. Among these, the iconic Fiat 500, an authentic symbol of Made in Italy worldwide.
Presented by Piero Chiambretti, Turinese doc, the show will alternate Italian “excellencies” of the world of sports, cinema, art and Italian icons that have marked the history of the country. Among the protagonists of the evening, Olivier Francois, Stellantis CMO and FIAT CEO, in a dialogue with Piero Chiambretti directly from the Mirafiori plant where the new 500 Hybrid is produced, will tell how the Fiat 500 has contributed to make Italy a global reference point in terms of creativity, design and innovation.
The Galà dei 500 – Italian excellence will also be a tribute to Turin and FIAT: the evening will celebrate the brand, but also the city that always represents the industrial and cultural soul of Italy, symbol of innovation and tradition. A special tribute will also be dedicated to the Mirafiori plant, the heart of FIAT production, which with 500 Hybrid started a new phase, marking a return to the full activity of the production site.
The choice of the Heritage Hub as a “study” to host the program is certainly not random. This charming location is located in the premises of the former Officina 81 Via Plava in Turin – one of the historic Fiat mechanical production plants within the industrial area of Mirafiori – and today houses a wide collection of classic cars of the brands of Turin of the Stellantis Group.
