MILANO (ITALPRESS) – Two important brands like Fiat and Abarth joined by the frame of the Winter Olympics of Milan-Cortina, to present two new products of their range with sport as a heart button. In this context, the Fiat 600 Sport and the Abarth 600e were presented in Milan. A presentation that comes after a promising start for the Fiat brand. “Gennaio was a month of success for Fiat as regards cars. We closed at 13.5% share with commercial vehicles at 25.1%, three points more than the same period of the previous year for a total Fiat share plus Fiat Professional of 14.5 points growing a point and a half compared to the previous year”, said Alessio Scutari, managing director Fiat & Abarth Italia, underlining how “Grande Panda conquers the leadership of the hybrid B segment and is configured as the fourth most widely-used car in Italy. Entering the detail of the two cars, regarding the 600 Sport is a car 4,18 meters long and 1,98 meters wide, with a height of 1,52 meters and with a trunk of 385 liters. As a hybrid version it is equipped with a 145 cv engine that can reach a maximum speed of 200 km/h. The model is also available in 110 cv hybrid and 156 cv electric versions. Its acceleration allows to pass from zero to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and consumes up to 4,9 l per 100 km.“The 600 Sport figure as the most equipped car of 600, then the high part of the offer – said Scutari – It is a car that has outside the cuts clearly that soften the world of design and sport, that is with elements in glossy black color, with browned rear lights, black circles exclusive. Inside the dark tones are shown on the dashboard, on the fabric of the seats and on the sky of the car to return in general a feeling clearly more sporty”. As for the Abarth 600e, it is a model with a motor capable of delivering 280 cv and taking from 0 to 100 km/h in only 5,85 seconds. The true Abarth spirit is reflected in the 280 cv engine, in race brakes and in the self-locking differential, which strengthen the identity of Abarth as the maximum expression of automotive performance.
