Fiat launches the new 600 Benzina Turbo 100

TORINO (ITALPRESS) – Fiat expands the 600 range with the introduction of the new Fiat 600 Gasoline with 100 CV Turbo engine associated with the 6-speed manual transmission, a version designed for customers who appreciate a simple, direct and engaging driving experience. This new motorization goes alongside the electric and hybrid versions already present in the range, strengthening the commitment of FIAT to offer a mobility accessible to all, with solutions that adapt to different lifestyles and expectations. The heart of the 600 Gasoline is the new Turbo engine of 100 CV, a new motorization that guarantees high efficiency, great responsiveness and reliability over time. The Turbo 100 engine is a 3 cylinders of 1,199 cc that delivers a maximum power of 101 CV (74 kW) at 5,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 205 Nm from 1,750 rpm. The variable geometry turbocharger optimizes the low-region engine response, facilitating urban driving and overtakings, ensuring complete driving pleasure in all conditions. The fuel consumption and emissions control for the Turbo 100 engine are guaranteed by a direct high-pressure injection system (350 bar), a valve milling system that reduces the internal friction, as well as a Miller cycle-based operation with high compression ratio, which improves the thermal efficiency of combustion. Combined with the new six-speed manual change, it offers an intuitive and connected driving sensation, in line with the FIAT tradition of a simple and focused mobility on the needs of each customer. These advances provide concrete advantages on the road, including great durability and low oil consumption.
To ensure maximum freedom of choice, the new internal combustion engine will be available on all installations (Pop, Icon, Business, La Prima and Sport), making the petrol option fully accessible to the whole 600 family.
In Italy the new Fiat 600 gasoline Turbo 100 is offered throughout April from 18.950 euros with scrap of a vehicle up to Euro 4 and financing Stellantis Financial Services Italy. Deliveries will leave next June.
