MILANO (ITALPRESS) – In the historical heart of Milan Roman in Via De Amicis 17, in the former Convent of Santa Maria della Vittoria, adjacent to the Archaeological Park of the Roman Amphitheatre, will take place “The Games in the Cloister”, project inserted in the context of the Olympic Cultural Heritage, realized by the Ficts – Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs (130 Countries affiliated, recognized by the Cio – International Olympic Committee.
The initiative, which will be open to the public for the whole period of the Games, offers an immersive experience in which sport, culture and memory dialogue with the city and will be inaugurated on Thursday 5 February at 17.30 in conjunction with the passage of the Olympic Flame right in front of the Ficts headquarters in Via De Amicis 17. All fans can participate in the “Games in the Cloister” and the little ones will have a free gadget.
The suggestive cloister of the 16th century will host five exhibitions with installations, cubes and modular structures dedicated to the history of the 24 editions of the Winter Olympic Games, the “Domenica del Corriere”, the Women at the Games and the Values of the Olympic Movement. In collaboration with the Uicos there will be Olympic summits, including the Winter Olympics Tournament of Cortina 1956 and will be projected on 3 large sports video screens, direct competitions, Ficts archive content and 20 Olympic-themed films for an extraordinary review of “Sport Movies & Tv”.
