ROME (ITALPRESS) – With a Prime Ministerial Decree signed by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Italian Army General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo has been appointed deputy director of the External Intelligence and Security Agency (AISE). The appointment is for a term of two years. The Parliamentary Committee for the Security of the Republic was informed of the appointment. This was announced by Palazzo Chigi. “The appointment of Army General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo as Deputy Director of the Agenzia Informazioni e Sicurezza Esterna, AISE, is a just recognition of the commitment and dedication with which he has served the country throughout his career.
