Financial maneuver, for over a third of Italians health is priority

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – In recent days the Italian Government is discussing the new Financial Manovra for 2026. A topic that has always turned on the public and political debate on the proposals and measures to be included in the Budget Law.

One of the themes that is causing controversy, based mainly on “voices” and information collected through the media and word-of-mouth, concerns the hypothesis of funds to invest to finance the rearmament of our country.

A proposal which, on the basis of the perceptions alone, is not appreciated by the majority of the Italian population. The only exceptions concern the electors of Forza Italia and the Brothers of Italy who would share this choice of the Government.

In a scenario such as the current one, more than a third of Italian citizens would like the new Financial Manovra to focus mainly on investments aimed at improving the health of our country and, to follow, on wages and taxes. From a political point of view, differences emerge in the priorities of the voters of the various parties that make up the Italian scenario.

If, in fact, health remains the priority problem for the centre-left political area, voters of government parties call for greater commitment and more funds to reduce taxes and tax pressure. The survey of Only Numbers for Realpolitik was carried out on 13 and 14 October 2025 with CAWI methodology on a sample of 800 representative cases of the Italian majority population.
