Fiorentina-Milan 2-1: De Gea, Adli and Gudmundsson shine.

FLORENCE (ITALPRESS) – Fiorentina beat AC Milan 2-1 in the post-match of the eighth day of Serie A. It was decided by Gudmunsson in the final part of a match that had continuous surprises and saw Fonseca’s lineup mainly guilty of failing two penalty kicks. On the shields were De Gea, who parried two penalties, and Adli, author of the first goal of the evening. Useless for the result were Pulisic’s goal and Maignan’s save on the penalty kicked by Kean.
The first half was immediately full of twists and turns with Fiorentina more square than in other performances and Milan, on the other hand, appearing the copy of the first days of the championship. The hosts could take the lead as early as 20′ on a penalty kick awarded for Theo Hernandez’s foul on Dodo but Kean shoots poorly making Maignan’s intervention easy. The Rossoneri defensive left back’s black night was completed at the end of the half when he returned the favor by getting hypnotized by De Gea after the match director, Pairetto, had whistled a penalty for Ranieri’s foul on Morata. The Gigliati’s one-nil came in the 35′ and was signed by Adli, who found a splendid right-footed shot that was impassable for former teammate Maignan. The violets go to rest deservedly ahead.
Things don’t get any better for Milan at the start of the second half when the referee gives them a second penalty for Kean’s foul on Gabbia but De Gea takes care of it this time as well and says no to Abraham. It was Pulic who found the equalizer for the guests shortly afterwards by eluding Adli. Fiorentina at 70′ complains about a penalty that neither the referee nor var awarded for a foul that actually appeared to be there by Rejnders on Colpani. Luckily for the Gigliati, Gudmunsson’s goal arrived with the Icelander finalizing a perfect counterattack. In the final Milan attempted an assault with first Okafor and then Chukwueze but the purple fortress resisted, indeed Kean also hit a resounding crossbar, and so at the final whistle Florence could rejoice and above all thank De Gea.
