MILANO (ITALPRESS) – “The first European tourism strategy will be launched in the coming weeks.” This was announced by the Executive Vice President of the European Commission Raffaele Fitto in video connection with the International Tourism Forum in Milan.
Fitto recalled that “in the context of the PNRR, there is an appropriation of one billion and two hundred million euros for the small villages that has created an attention for those realities that have a greater need to put in the field choices that can enhance these territories diversify also the tourist offer”.
Fitto then recalled that “in the coming months will be approved this strategy on the right to stay, aimed at strengthening rural and internal areas because today we live a contradictory phenomenon: the three quarters of European citizens live in large urban areas and this involves problems and the depopulation of internal areas.”.
