PONTEDERA (PISA) (ITALPRESS) – Piaggio Medley, the medium-displacement high-wheel scooter comes to market in a new version powered by the 200, Euro 5+ engine, which joins the classic 125 engine, both featuring an advanced start and stop system. The new Piaggio Medley range is already available with prices starting at 3,899 euros, ex dealer.
The new Medley 200 grows in displacement and is more powerful and snappy: thanks to the new, high-tech single-cylinder fuel-injected, water-cooled engine. The power of the new engine reaches 13 kW, and torque rises to 16.5 Nm. Values that, on the road, translate into a decisive brilliance and, even more important in city riding, a great elasticity of travel. Piaggio Medley combines practicality, technology and beauty in the purest Italian style, to interpret the needs of an evolved public, looking for easy, comfortable mobility solutions characterized by brilliant performance.
Medley does not give up anything by combining the values of different types of scooters: lightness, agility and ease of riding, typical of high-wheelers, are combined with performance, protectiveness and carrying capacity typical of GT scooters. The new Piaggio Medley is available in Medley and Medley S. The latter is distinguished by its distinctly sporty black finish; color variants are Meteor Black (matte), Moon White, Slate Blue (matte), and Matte Gold. Piaggio MIA, a multimedia platform for linking the on-board system and smartphone, is standard on Medley S. Medley favors more classic colors, such as Astral Gray and Abyss Black, combined with elegant aluminum-colored finishes for the wheel rims and passenger grab bar.
