ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Immaculate Bridge is 4 billion away. A survey of Cna Turismo e Commercio focused on the direct and indirect expenses of holidaymakers on the days between 6 and 8 December, with a vanguard of tourists already departing from the afternoon of Friday 5. There are 11 million people on the move. In hotels and extra-hotels there are approximately 3 million overnight stays, with 1,75 million from foreign tourists and 1.25 million Italian holidaymakers. All numbers in sharp growth compared to last year, when the ‘bridge’ included a day less, as the Immaculate fell on Sunday. Cities and villages of art will be the favorite destinations thanks to markets and Christmas attractions already available. But also for the ski and thermal resorts there is a satisfactory result.
