ROME (ITALPRESS) – The extraordinary commissioners of Acciaierie d’Italia in Extraordinary Administration (AS) and ILVA in AS announce that, at midnight last night, the bidding phase for the acquisition of the former Ilva plants, based on the bids submitted last Jan. 10, was concluded.At the end of this phase, two raises were received from Baku Steel Company CJSC + Azerbaijan Investment Company OJSC and Jindal Steel International, while no additions to what had already been submitted were received from Bedrock Industries Management Co Inc.The Extraordinary Commissioners will reserve a few days to carefully evaluate the proposals received and formulate their opinion, which will be forwarded to the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy.
