“The researchers are the pulsating heart of this system. Their work is fundamental, it generates knowledge, opens new frontiers, creates opportunities for future generations. Italian research is competitive and capable of confronting the best world standards, within a vision that looks at Europe and international cooperation”, said the Minister of the University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini.

“The FIS 3, which this year has guaranteed exceptional funding, is accompanied by a more comprehensive strategy. With the law of Budget we guarantee continuity and stability to resources – he added – The new Single Research Fund offers certainties: transparent criteria, notices published by 30 April and defined resources. In 2025 we are talking about 460 million, plus 150 million for the PRIN, now annual bands with minimum guarantee. The FIS 3 call is part of this overall strategy of strengthening the research system. Congratulations to the researchers who have obtained funding under the Italian Science Fund. This is a decisive step to give Italian research the time, tools and stability needed to generate innovation and future”.
