VERONA (ITALPRESS) – The State Police, coordinated by the Prosecutor of the Republic at the Court of Verona, performed the arrest against 4 Albanians, aged between 25 and 28 years, as they were held responsible for thefts in the house committed in Veronese territory.
The survey was initiated following a significant increase in thefts in the home, recorded between November and December. It has been identified the car used by what has been revealed to be a real gang specialized in thefts in the home. The criminal group operated in all the city districts, in afternoon and evening hours, always adopting the same technique: after identifying the house to be depredated, two components remained in the car, in order to guard the surrounding area, while two others went down, equipped with tools for effraction, including a flexible content in a bag. After climbing even on balconies of floors above the first, in constant contact with the accomplices in the car, through radio transceivers, they forced the door window, even with the use of the flexible if necessary, and, once entered, they put to soqquadro the entire apartment in search of jewelry, objects of value and cash, even if guarded in safes that were forced with the flexible. The action lasted from 5 to 15 minutes.
On 19 December, the criminal group, after committing two thefts in the house, in Via Olisi and in Via Cristoforo Colombo, in one of which was taken away a safe contained jewelry in gold and cash, was blocked at the time when he returned to Garda.
The four Albanians, at that time for the first time identified were subjected to firm and inside the car, in addition to the proceeds of the two thefts, that is safe, jewelry and cash, have been found numerous arnesi acts to the dig, a flexible with 6 disks (used to force grates and safes) and 3 receivable radiolines.
The subsequent search at the place of residence has allowed to invent and seize numerous jewelry, cash and other valuables, all of which are likely to be furtive and on which investigations are under way to identify the owners.
In light of the current investigative emergencies it is possible that the criminal group has consumed numerous thefts in Verona. The four Albanians were associated with the surrounding house of Verona “Montorio”.
