CON GATTUSO SEI VITTORIE, UN PAREGGIO E UNA SCONFITTA
Gattuso, a world champion with the 2006 National Team and a blue footballer for 73 times, was appointed technical commissioner on 15 June 2025, after Luciano Spalletti’s exoneration. On 5 September 2025, he made his debut on the blue bench in Bergamo on the occasion of a clear success on Estonia (5-0), which he followed four days after the pyrotechnic victory of Debrecen against Israel (5-4).
In all for him 8 games lead Italy, with a balance of 6 wins, a defeat (at home with Norway) and 1 draw, that is to say Zenica, against Bosnia which then imposed itself on the rigori dismissing the qualifying to the World of the Blues for the third consecutive time.
