BERLIN (ITALPRESS) – Chancellor Olaf Scholz has fired Finance Minister Christian Lindner, who was calling for new elections. This was reported by German media outlets. Lindner had proposed a return to a vote in early 2025 to government allies. The announcement came as negotiations are underway among the semaphore coalition partners – Spd, liberals and Greens – over the budget.
