Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa, the most extreme Quadrifoglio ever

TORINO (ITALPRESS) – Alfa Romeo presents the world premiere Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa, the first creation born from the partnership with the Luna Rossa team, excellence of international sailing and symbol of innovation and Italian sport.

The project goes beyond sponsorship and represents a deep encounter between two icons of Made in Italy, articulated on three levels: sports partnership, technical collaboration and special editions inspired by the world of sailing. Developed in the BOTTEGAFUORISERIE universe, a new creative pole shared by Alfa Romeo and Maserati, this special series is made of only ten specimens, all already sold. Every car is born from Giulia Quadrifoglio produced in Cassino and is subsequently transformed through an artisan process that involves Italian partners of excellence.

The Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa is the most extreme of all: thanks to a sophisticated carbon aerodynamic package, it generates up to 140 kg of load at 300 km/h, about five times that of the series version, maintaining an ideal aerodynamic balance (40% front). The aerodynamics is directly inspired by the foil of the Red Moon’s AC75, reinterpreted to maximize road stability and efficiency.

Under the pulsa hood, the well-known V6 2.9 biturbo from 520 CV, combined with a mechanical self-locking differential, for an even more precise and engaging driving dynamic. The style recalls the boat Luna Rossa dell’Americàs Cup 2024: cangiant steel painting, two-tone livery with red band, Alfa Romeo logos with red background (first time in the brand’s history) and wide use of exposed carbon. The interior is decorated with dedicated Sparco seats and a unique element: an authentic fragment of Luna Rossa sail integrated into the dashboard, which makes each specimen a real piece of collection.
