MILAN (ITALPRESS) – The elective assembly of the Italian Federation of Health and Hospitality Companies (Fiaso) was held at the SmartCityLab in Milan, which elected the new president. Giuseppe Quintavalle, current general manager of Asl Roma 1 and already vice-president Fiaso, succeeds Giovanni Migliore at the head of the Federation that represents the main Italian health and hospital companies.

“I thank the outgoing president Giovanni Migliore for the work done in recent years, the director Nicola Pinelli, the probiviri and the whole Fiaso structure for the constant support to the associated companies,” said the new president Quintavalle. “I take this assignment at a decisive stage for the National Health Service. Our goal – he added – will strengthen the role of healthcare companies as leverage of innovation and proximity.”.

Quintavalle this will be possible “by consolidating the integration between hospital and territory, enhancing professionals and managing with responsibility the opportunities offered by digital technologies and artificial intelligence. It is also a priority to evolve our language, adopting the new standards of digital communication and modern information guidelines, to make clearer and transparent the value of the work that every day the Ssn guarantees to citizens,” he concluded.
