Going strengthens its programming on China

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – In the sign of the Horse of Fire, symbol of energy, momentum and spirit of exploration in the Chinese horoscope 2026, Going strengthens its programming on China with an articulated and contemporary approach, designed to meet the new needs of the Italian traveller and to offer agencies solid, flexible and distinctive sales tools. The destination is now among the great opportunities of the long range thanks to the extension of the visa exemption for Italian citizens until 31 December 2026, for tourist stays up to 30 days.

A simplification that is creating a renewed interest in China, making it more accessible and competitive and favoring a qualitative recovery of demand. The Going proposal develops on two complementary guidelines. On the one hand, tailor-made travel, designed to be tailored for evolved and curious travellers, with a strong emphasis on immersive experiences and new trends in exploration of the country.

Among these, high-speed train connections are a key element: an emblematic example is the AV Zhangjiajie-Furongzhen line, in the province of Hunan, which connects the area of the famous rocky pinnacles – source of inspiration of the “floating mountains” of Avatar – to the historical village of Furong, known for the picturesque waterfall that crosses the inhabited center and for the traditional houses on stilts.

Next to the “made-to-measure”, Going proposes a selection of four group itineraries, built around the great symbolic poles of Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai, capable of woven imperial and contemporary history, urban icons, iconic landscapes and millennial traditions. Balanced routes, designed for those who want a first or new discovery of China with a structured but never standardized approach, and with a particular focus on the quality of the experiences included.

Among these, stands the Tea Ceremony in Beijing, led by a Shifu, master of infusion art: a moment of cultural deepening that accompanies the traveler to discover the Gong Fu Cha, a refined practice evolved through the Chinese dynasties and today an authentic expression of sociality and philosophy of life. In the “Going2China” programming, each itinerary is distinguished by the level of deepening and for thematic – cultural and naturalistic focus – giving rise to differentiated and distinctive proposals. A journey story that constantly moves in the dialogue between the ancient and modern, stylistic figure of a country able to surprise and renew itself, and a programming designed to create value along the whole chain, from travel agencies to the final customer.
