COVERCIANO (ITALPRESS) – Simone Inzaghi has won the 33rd edition of the “Golden Bench,” an award given to the best coach in Serie A. The reference is to the 2023-24 season, the year in which the coach from Piacenza won his first Scudetto, the 20th in Inter’s history. There were 26 votes for the Nerazzurri coach, second Gian Piero Gasperini with 14 votes, third Vincenzo Italiano with 4 votes.
“This morning the voting was done by my colleagues whom I publicly thanked because it is thanks to them that I always try to improve, challenging each other every Sunday on the fields we always try to improve – Inzaghi’s words – Then fans and society know what work I do, I feel appreciated, I am very well at Inter, my family is well in Milan, we have to continue knowing that, as it is right, coaches are judged every 72 hours.”
