Gonzalez wins in Thailand in Moto2, out goes Vietti

BURIRAM (THAILAND) – In Moto2 Manuel Gonzalez (Kalex) won the Grand Prix of Thailand, taking home his first 25 points of the season. On the Chang circuit, for the Spaniard came the second career triumph in the category, following a race conducted practically always solo. Second place for Aron Canet (2″600), his 20th in the intermediate class. Bottom step of the podium, instead, for Australian Senna Agius (Kalex, +6″491), protagonist of a gripping duel in the final with Brazilian Moreira. During the race, Agius was also penalized with a long lap penalty, following an overly aggressive overtaking on Celestino Vietti that caused his fall. Diogo Moreira (6″742) and Marcos Ramirez (9″561) were fourth and fifth, respectively. In order, Barry Baltus, Jake Dixon, Daniel Holgado, Filip Salac and Alonso Lopez complete the top ten. Thirteenth place in a comeback, however, for Tony Arbolino.
