MESSINA (ITALPRESS) – The Messina Provincial Health Authority continues its flu campaign with the “Influ Day” event. The initiative was held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at multiple vaccination centers distributed throughout the province. The points identified for the vaccine administrations were the Messina North vaccination center, the Palazzo Satellite vaccination center, the S. Teresa di Riva vaccination center, the Lipari vaccination center, the Milazzo vaccination center, the Patti vaccination center, the S. Agata di Militello vaccination center, the Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto vaccination center, the Mistretta vaccination center and also at the Uosd of Hospital Hygiene of the Aou Gaetano Martino. Salvatore Sidoti, director of the Epidemiological Prevention and Preventive Medicine Service of the Asp of Messina, pointed out that “the vaccination with ‘Influ day’ has registered good participation. I am in charge of vaccination campaigns at the Provincial Health Authority and coordinate vaccination prophylaxis activities to ensure maximum territorial coverage. I also develop strategies to increase informed immunization adherence and manage the scheduling, logistics and implementation of vaccination plans. I coordinate epidemiological monitoring and surveillance activities.
