GENOA (ITALPRESS) – Fiorentina expelled Fiorentina at the Ferraris and flew to fourth place: on the other hand, Genoa’s black crisis continues, sadly last. In the post-match of the tenth day of Serie A, Palladino’s boys beat the Rossoblù 1-0, thanks to Gosens’ goal in the second half. Certainly few people in a few months will remember this match, which at times was rather boring and low tempo. As for the lineups, the Viola have to deal with the absence of Kean, as well as that of the long-suffering Gudmundsson. In the Rossoblù, on the other hand, Ekhator plays in attack together with Pinamonti: Balotelli is not yet summoned. In general, the first half gives very few goal emotions. After an aggressive start by Genoa, as the minutes pass, the pace of play of Gilardino’s team gradually wanes. At 7′, on the development of a corner, Matturro forces De Gea to make a save; at 23′, however, Sabelli’s diagonal shot at the second post ends just wide. On the other side, Fiorentina grows in the distance, although struggling to find gaps in the hosts’ compact defensive line. The absence of Kean is, therefore, felt: Kouame’s test will prove insufficient and the Ivorian will practically never manage to give depth to the guests’ attack. Dirty match full of individual duels also in the second half. After four minutes of the second half, young Ekhator failed to make his fans cheer, kicking high from a deflected position. Despite a positive attitude of Genoa, however, what broke the balance of the match was Palladino’s team, which, from the 60th minute, began to cross into the opponent’s box more dangerously. Just on a high pass from Beltran, Gosens emerges, who, at 72′, wins a rebound in the area and scores the 1-0 goal. Fiorentina’s goal seemed to finally uncork the match on the level of spectacle. Genoa, in fact, immediately tried to react, but De Gea was not surprised by Pinamonti’s shot. Shortly afterwards again the former Sassuolo striker fails in the tap-in on an empty goal, because he is stopped by a providential closure of Dodò. Fiorentina withstood the final siege of the Rossoblù, thanks to the super performance of De Gea, who was also miraculous on Vasquez’s header. With this victory, the purple formation is in full Champions zone.- Photo Image -(ITALPRESS).
