Hamas hands over bodies of 4 Israeli hostages

ROME (ITALPRESS) – The Israeli army has taken delivery
from the International Red Cross the bodies of its four
citizens who died in Gaza while they were Hamas hostages. They are Shiri Bibas, Ariel Bibas, Kfir Bibas and Oded Lifshitz, all of whom were abducted from their homes in Kibbutz Nir Oz on Oct. 7, 2023.
The handover took place on a stage set up in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, in front of a large crowd of Palestinians. The coffins were each labeled with each hostage’s photo and a propaganda message. On the stage, a large propaganda poster blamed Israel for their killing olte ammunition and bombs to symbolize that their deaths were Israel’s fault. The army held a brief ceremony led by Idf Chief Rabbi Eyal Karim.
The hostages will be transported by Israeli troops in Idf vehicles and brought to Israel for identification. Israeli Health Minister Uriel Buso said that identification of the bodies could take time and that it is necessary to establish, if possible, the cause of death. In Tel Aviv, crowds gathered next to Israeli flags decorated with the yellow ribbon symbolizing prisoners in Hostages Square.
