ROME (ITALPRESS) – Israeli Defense Forces killed Hamas leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar. During an IDF activity in the Gaza Strip, “three terrorists were eliminated,” the IDF announced, and after verification by the Shin Bet it emerged that one of them was Sinwar.
The Saudi daily “Asharq al-Awsat” quotes two anonymous Hamas sources as saying that the terrorist group’s leaders inside and outside Gaza have been informed of Sinwar’s death. Sources in the Islamic group inside Gaza tell “Asharq al-Awsat” that contact with Sinwar’s security detail, consisting of only two or three people, was lost days ago.
