Hamas releases three more Israeli hostages

ROME (ITALPRESS) – The three Israeli hostages have been released
in Deir el Balah, Gaza Strip, as part of the cease-fire agreement. They are Eli Sharabi, Or Levy and Ohad Ben Ami, who, before being handed over to the Red Cross, were brought up as is now the practice on the stage set up by Hamas, flanked by armed and masked militiamen.
A Red Cross official and a Hamas official signed the release document. They will now be taken to an Israeli military base before returning to Tel Aviv where, meanwhile, the assembled crowd cheered their release as they watched the pictures. Israel is expected to release more than 180 Palestinian prisoners in the coming hours.
“The government of Israel embraces the three returnees. The shocking images we saw today will not go unanswered. The government, together with security officials, will support them and their families. Israel pledges to bring back all the hostages and the missing,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office makes known.
