ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Farewell to Corrado Carnival: the former president of the Court of Cassation turned off this afternoon in Rome. He would be 96 years old on May 9th. Born in Licata, Carnival was called the judge “ammazzasentenze” for the numerous appeals, about 500, which he annulled. At the top of the Supreme Court from 1985 to 1993, he was involved in his career in an investigation but was finally acquitted in 2002.
