MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Once again this year, on Epiphany Day, the motorcycling witches brought a smile to the children hospitalized in the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Department of IRCCS Policlinico San Donato (San Donato Group), bringing a bit of magic and hope to those who are facing a difficult time in the hospital. The crones, brightly colored in their flamboyant clothes, made their entrance into the hospital, surprising the little patients and their families and distributing sweets, gifts and lots of cheer, turning an ordinary day into a special moment of joy and solidarity. This initiative, which is among the projects supported by GSD Foundation ETS and has been repeated for several years now, is organized by Motoclub VRR, a group of passionate motorcyclists who decided to dedicate their passion for motorcycles to the cause of the little ones, giving them an unforgettable experience. The gesture of solidarity had a great impact not only on the children, but also on the medical staff who could see the smiles on the faces of the patients and their families. “It’s a small gesture that makes a big difference,” said Daniele Ursetta, president of Motoclub VRR. “Today we saw so many children smiling, the most beautiful gift we can receive from those who are fighting a daily battle for their health. I would like to thank all the people who collaborate with us every year to make this important initiative happen and, in particular, GSD Foundation ETS that allows us to live this special experience that warms our hearts and fills us with joy.
