CREMONA (ITALPRESS) – Six days away from the triumph in Supercoppa, Naples refutes on the championship, surpassing for 2-0 the Cremonese revelation at Zini. The cover man of the partenopei is once again Hojlund, author of a doublet and, in general, of a dominant test. Conte’s team discarded the taboo and returned to success away from Maradona. In Cremona the supremacy of the bells has never been in doubt.
They pass, in fact, just thirteen minutes and Naples is immediately ahead. Spinazzola collects a repel of the opposing defense and kicks towards the door: a deviation sends out Audero time and brings the ball to the feet of Hojlund which marks the 1-0 empty door. The Danish striker touches the 24′ double on a reparation action triggered by Politano, but the Audero exit is providential. It is definitely the day of Hojlund that does not despair for the missed opportunity and marks the 2-0 on the fractional final. From a Politano cross on which Zerbin first sleeps and then Baschirotto, the former Manchester United emerges, which collects the rimpallo and exults again.
A concentrated Naples and master of operations risks only to 28′ on a walled attempt by Payero. In the previous action, Cremonese had protested for a contact in the area between Zerbin and Rrahmani, which was considered too light by Mariani. In the recovery the rhythm of the match is lowered, favoring the management of Naples, however close to the third goal on several occasions: Hojlund on two occasions touches the triplet, while McTominay commits Audero to 86′ with a powerful shot from the limit. To return to the game, Nicola tries all, inserting from the bench the various Johnsen, Bonazzoli and Moumbagna: with maturity, however, the guests freeze the result. This result allows Conte’s boys to take second place in Serie A, less than one point from the Milan capolista (waiting Inter engaged in the evening against the Atalanta). On the other hand, however, today’s defeat does not significantly upset the Cremonese classification, which remains twelfth with 21 points.
