Hungary expels 10 Russian diplomats, “unacceptable activities”

BUDAPEST (UNGHERIA) (ITALPRESS) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary has ordered the expulsion of 10 members of the Russian Embassy staff in Budapest. The Hungarian Foreign Minister, Anita Orban, on X. “On my indication, on Tuesday, the official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the Russian ambassador in Hungary that, according to the assessment of the Hungarian authorities, 10 members of the Russian mission made themselves responsible in Hungary for unacceptable activities for diplomats under the Vienna Convention,” the Minister wrote. “The Hungarian side therefore asked the people concerned to leave Hungary. This decision protects the security and sovereignty of Hungary and does not imply the interruption of diplomatic relations with Russia.
