ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech (HMMC) has reached the goal of five million vehicles produced.
The auto celebrativa was a Tucson Hybrid in the special edition GO Czech dedicated to the Czech market, which the owner directly picked up at the factory with the opportunity to watch live the production of the vehicle on the assembly line. Vehicles manufactured by Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech have been exported to over 90 countries worldwide.
Although the main share is intended for European markets, cars are also delivered in the Middle East, Africa, Oceania and Latin America. Since 2020, the site has started producing electrified vehicles – including Kona EV – now reaching over 650,000 units produced with hybrid or electric motorizations, 200,000 of which are represented by Kona Electric.z
In parallel to the growth of production, the involvement of HMMC in the development of new models has evolved significantly over the years, as well as its level of independence from the mother house in Korea.
From 1 January 2026, Sanghoon Yoon was appointed President of Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech, bringing with it a decades-long experience and a path of excellence within the Hyundai Group.
