MILANO (ITALPRESS) – For over fifteen years Hyundai i20 has been one of the pillars of the Brand offer and one of the most significant models in the recent history of Hyundai in Italy and Europe. Since the debut of the first generation in 2008, designed to strengthen the European range and collect the legacy of Getz, i20 has been able to conquer the public thanks to a balanced, concrete and constantly updated formula. In Italy there are about 140 thousand units sold, a result that testifies to the central role of the model in segment B and its decisive contribution to the growth and consolidation of the brand in our country. Generation after generation, i20 has evolved without ever losing its identity, improving design, perceived quality, technology and safety. From the beginning it has distinguished itself for inhabitability, constructive solidity and ease of use, quality that in time have been combined with increasingly complete technological content and a pleasure of driving able to meet the needs of urban and extra-urban modern mobility. The design has always been one of the distinctive features of the model. Balanced proportions, long pitch and low roof give life to a dynamic and elegant silhouette, while clean surfaces and sculpted volumes contribute to aerodynamic efficiency and comfort. While remaining faithful to the compact size of the segment, the cabin offers a surprising space for passengers and luggage, confirming Hyundai’s attention to daily functionality. The current generation, introduced in 2024, further consolidates the i20 position as reference for segment B, with a renewed design, technological interiors dominated by the double 10.25 inch display and one of the most complete safety equipment thanks to Hyundai SmartSense systems. All this is accompanied by a strong link with motorsport, built over the years in the FIA World Rally Championship and able to transfer to the model an authentic sports DNA. With the Model Year 2026, i20 continues its evolution, confirming a compact mature, modern and ready to face the challenges of mobility today and tomorrow.
