In 2025 reached by the Mimit 27 on industrial disputes, Urso “ Significant consideration”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – There are 27 agreements reached at Mimit in 2025, translated into as many reindustrialization agreements and structured production relaunch routes – with an average of one every two weeks – which allowed the protection or stabilization of over 14,260 workers. This is the budget of the management of crisis tables carried out by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy during last year. Among the most important disputes brought to a successful conclusion in the year just concluded are the cases La Perla, Beko, Coin, Dema Group, Diageo, Speedline, Riello, Jabil, Venator and Adriatronics. “A significant milestone, achieved by addressing particularly complex disputes, often unresolved for years and with high employment impact, which have found a concrete perspective of continuity and industrial relaunch thanks to a constant and responsible dialogue between institutions, enterprises, workers and trade union organizations,” said the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso.

Among the most significant results is the return to Italy of industrial assets of historical and symbolic value, such as Diageo with the historic Cinzano factory, as well as the consolidation of strategic realities such as Riello, recently entered the perimeter of the Ariston group. In some cases, the intervention of Mimit has allowed hundreds of unilateral dismissals to be withdrawn, favouring a concerted management of the subsurfaces and supporting industrial reorganization and relaunch routes, such as in Berco and Yoox disputes, which are covered by a structured confrontation between the parties oriented to occupational protection and industrial perspective. In other cases, Mimit has dealt with and solved disputes of particular complexity, intended to constitute a reference also on the methodological level, such as La Perla, characterized by four competition procedures, of which an extra-EU and with different purposes.

Industrial crisis solutions have also been identified in the Mezzogiorno, with the involvement of companies rooted in the territory, such as the Dema Group, already resolved, and AC Boilers, in phase of finalization. With regard to the numbers, in the course of 2025 were convened at the Mimit 208 plenary tables, alongside numerous meetings of coordination and technical deepening. The crisis tables active at Palazzo Piacentini are currently 41, in sharp decline compared to 55 of 2022, with 34,802 workers involved, in front of the more than 80.000 of three years ago. A fact that certifies a change of structural step: less open crisis, more definitive solutions. The achievements confirm the proactivity of the Dicastery and the recognition of the Mimit as a reference institutional seat for the definition of industrial and employment solutions. These include further production continuity and employment protection agreements in the main sectors of manufacturing and services, the result of a constant and responsible confrontation that has seen Mimit play a leading role among institutions, enterprises and social partners.
