ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The introduction of artificial intelligence in enterprises with at least 10 employees has a particularly significant growth over the last year, from 8.2% of 2024 to 16.4% of 2025 (it was 5.0% in 2023). Istat notes this, underlining that the lack of adequate skills slows the adoption of AI in almost 60% of the companies that have assessed but then not realized investments in IA.
The use of management software increases by about 7 percentage points compared to 2023, reaching 56.0% of companies with at least 10 employees in 2025. Increasing to 68.1% companies that in 2025 acquire intermediate or advanced cloud computing services. In the last two years, the enterprises that have carried out analysis of the data using internal staff or external organizations, pass from 26.6% to 42.7%.
