ROMA (ITALPRESS) – In February, according to Istat data, the consumer confidence indicator rises from 96.8 to 97.4 while the composite indicator of the climate of trust of enterprises decreases from 97.7 to 97.4. Among consumers, there is an overall improvement of opinions, especially those on the economic situation of the country: the economic climate rises from 97.4 to 99.1, the personal climate increases from 96.6 to 96.8, the current climate grows from 100.1 to 100.7 and the future climate passes from 92.3 to 93.1. With reference to enterprises, the confidence index increases in buildings (from 99.9 to 103.1) and retail trade (from 102.5 to 105.1) while falling in manufacturing (from 89.2 to 88.5) and market services (from 103.5 to 102.2).
With regard to the components of trust indices, all components in the manufacturing industry record an unfavorable dynamic, while in construction the entrepreneurs judge the level of orders and/or plans of construction in improvement regarding last month and preview a decided increase of employment at the company. In market services there is a worsening of orders judgments but there is an increase in relative expectations; the judgments on business trends deteriorate compared to last month. In retail trade all components are improving.
