ROMA (ITALPRESS) – In February Istat estimates that the seasonal index of production in buildings increases by 0.5% compared to January. On average December 2025 – February 2026 production in buildings decreased by 1.1% in comparison with the previous quarter.
On a curtain basis, the crude index recorded an increase of 1.5%, while the correct index for calendar effects grew by 1.4% (the calendar working days were 20 as in February 2025).
In the first two months of 2026, the crude index decreases by 1.6%, while the correct index for calendar effects increases by 0.5% compared to the same period of the previous year.
