ROMA (ITALPRESS) – After the first day of talks in Miami with Ukrainian negotiators, US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio said that progress has been made in efforts to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, but that “there is still a lot of work to do.” According to Cnn, Rubio pointed out that Russia will have to intervene on critical points when an American delegation will visit Moscow this week.
The meeting with senior US officials was “productive and positive”, said Ukraine’s chief negotiator, Rustem Umerov, speaking with journalists after the first day of talks in Miami.
Umerov reiterated “three key priorities: peace, security and prosperity of Ukraine.”.
