LONDON (ITALPRESS) – The Italian Cultural Institute in London is hosting the first meeting of the Italian Alumni of the Bayes Business School, one of the most highly rated of those in the United Kingdom. The meeting was attended by some 100 alumni and professors of the only Business school located within the City’s perimeter that over the years has churned out dozens of CEOs and executives working all over the world. An academic institution marked by a strong Italian presence both in the academic body (starting with the vice dean, Professor Barbara Casu) and among the students who attend it every day alongside colleagues from the five continents. After the greeting of Director Francesco BongarrĂ , who has been an Honorary Senior Visiting Fellow of the Bayes Business School for several years, Pietro Mattioni, CEO of ZONIN1821 Group, Maurizio Bragagni, CEO of Tratos, and Erika Liaci, Director of Mediobanca, recounted their experiences on the Belgrave Square stage. All reiterated how, as Mattioni explained, “being Italian gives you an edge in business, teaches you to adapt and deal creatively with the situations that you gradually experience.” Listening to them, in a packed hall, were the Deputy Ambassador of Italy in London Riccardo Smimmo and the Consul General of Italy in London Domenico Bellantone: a testament to the attention that “Sistema Italia” in London gives to the work of Italian academics in the United Kingdom.
