The idea was born from the meeting between producers Emanuele Scamardella and Davide Ippolito, with the support of a name that in Hollywood weighs: the award Oscar Jonathan Sanger, producer of films like The Elephant Man, Vanilla Sky and the most recent Cabrini, dedicated to the figure of Francesca Cabrini, the first American saint of Italian origins. A clear signal: the project was born with an international breath and a direct dialogue with the US industry.
The name N41 recalls the 41st parallel, imaginary line that unites Naples and New York. Not only a geographical suggestion, but a cultural manifesto: to create a narrative bridge between two worlds that share roots, migrations, contaminations. In a time when the story of communities is often polarized between folklore and black chronicle, the bet is to build stories capable of restoring complexity, talent, innovation.
The stated goal is to produce films and series that speak to a global audience without betraying the Italian and Italian identity. Not only mafia and nostalgia caricature, but excellence, science, enterprise, art, civil commitment.
