BERGAMO (ITALPRESS) – Today, at the Sala Nossana in Uniacque Spa, the XXI edition of the Master Executive in Industrial Asset Management and Maintenance Management – MeGMI, a joint path of the Polimi Graduate School of Management and SdM – School of High Education of the University of Bergamo, dedicated to the advanced training of professionals engaged in the management and maintenance of industrial plants and infrastructure systems. The 2025 edition records 19 new members, bringing over 300 graduates who over the years have completed the program: a network that today includes Delegated Directors, Factory Directors and General Manager of Maintenance, witnesses to the professional impact of the master in the Italian industrial system.
The inaugural day opened with the institutional greetings of Pierangelo Bertocchi, CEO of Uniacque, Sergio Cavalieri, Director of the Master and Rector of the University of Bergamo, Marco Macchi, Director of the Master, POLIMI Graduate School of Management, Ezio Nini, General Director of Uniacque, Irene Roda, POLIMI Graduate School of Management, and Giovanna Zanotti, High Education School of the University of Bergamo. To follow, the round table dedicated to the theme “The strategic role of Maintenance and Asset Management in the utilities sector” saw the involvement of professionals and experts from the utilities sector and industrial realities that operate daily with them.
Moderated by Irene Roda (Politecnico di Milano), the discussion brought together Marco Balzarotti, Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, Laura Caramellino, Montello, Mattia Facchinetti, Uniacque and Andrea Pegoiani, Unareti. A comparison that offered an overview of current scenarios and future developments in plant maintenance, including technological innovation, operational efficiency and increasingly stringent sustainability requirements.
The presentation of the 2025 edition was entrusted to Emanuele Dovere (University of Bergamo studies), who illustrated the structure, content and objectives of the training path. For more than 15 years, the Master MeGMI has been aimed at managers, operators and professionals working in the maintenance of industrial plants – both process and manufacturing – and service infrastructure, such as distribution networks and transport systems. The program, provided in part-time formula, is compatible with work and integrates technical, managerial and economic skills for the advanced management of industrial assets.
